Chances
are, if you've tried alternative treatments in the past that promised to help lower your
blood sugar, you already know that most provide a
temporary or "band aid" solution at best, if any real help at all...
And the reason is simple:
They did not address the root cause of the
problem for the vast majority of Type 2 Diabetics and Pre Diabetics.
It's
no coincidence that, just like Yvon Morin used to
be, 80% of all Type 2 Diabetics
and Pre Diabetics are also overweight. When the hormone Insulin
(which your pancreas produces to help regulate your blood sugar) is present in
your body for long periods of time - as it is for those with Type 2
Diabetes and Pre Diabetes because your blood sugar is consistently
high... Your body cannot and will not burn fat.
Instead, you simply store more fat; your
fat cells become larger, and you gain more weight.
It's also no coincidence that, as a
Type 2 Diabetic or Pre Diabetic, a lot of
the excess fat your body stores is in
your midsection
(belly fat). Belly
fat includes a dangerous type of fat called "visceral fat," which is difficult to get rid
of because it's found deeper within your body (in both men and
women) under your stomach
muscles on your Omentum. Over time, visceral fat can
negatively impact vital organs like the liver and kidneys.
*Your Omentum is the fat organ
connected to your stomach that's only purpose is to catch and store
fat.
Visceral belly fat is typically more noticeable in men than in women
(beer belly or apple shaped body) because of a man's genetic makeup, but both genders accumulate it.
Note: If you can "pinch" it, it's not visceral fat.
Visceral
fat pumps out immune system chemicals called cytokines that increase
your risk of cardiovascular disease by promoting insulin resistance
and low-level chronic inflammation.
One reason visceral fat is so harmful is because of its location near
the portal vein, which carries blood from the intestinal area to the
liver. Substances released by visceral fat enter the portal vein and travel to the liver, where they can
influence the production of blood lipids - I.E. Blood fats:
Cholesterol, Triglycerides, etc..
Visceral fat is directly linked with higher total
cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol, lower HDL (good) cholesterol,
higher triglycerides, high blood pressure, and insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance,
of course, is the precursor to Pre Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes. Type 2
Diabetes is simply an extreme case of Insulin resistance.
Individuals with high blood sugar typically become Insulin resistant
years before they're ever diagnosed with Pre Diabetes or Type
2 Diabetes.
When you're
Insulin resistant, it means that your body's muscle and liver cells
don't respond adequately to normal levels of insulin. This causes sugar (glucose) levels in the blood to
rise, and often leads to Pre Diabetes, and eventually Type 2
Diabetes.
Together, insulin resistance, high blood glucose (sugar), excess
abdominal fat (visceral belly fat), unfavorable cholesterol levels
(including high triglycerides), and high blood pressure constitute
the metabolic syndrome, a
major risk factor and precursor for heart disease and stroke.
To help you get a better
understanding of the direct link between belly fat and Type 2
Diabetes or Pre Diabetes, we've included a short video
directly below of a CBS News interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz from
the Dr. Oz TV show. In addition to producing a TV show and public
appearances, Dr. Oz is still a practicing cardiologist.
When
the interview below took place, Dr. Oz was in Washington D.C. as the featured speaker for the
National Diabetes Conference. We encourage you to watch it now...
We invite
you to also watch
another video with Dr. Oz about the dangers of "belly fat" on
the Bios Life Slim Benefits page of this website. It'll
help you to understand what exactly happens to your body and your
health when you have too much visceral belly fat.
As you just saw in the CBS interview
with Dr. Oz, not only does reducing or eliminating belly fat
help to reverse high blood sugar and insulin resistance for Pre
Diabetics, but losing belly fat can also reduce high blood sugar
for the vast majority of Type 2 Diabetics, along with reversing other metabolic health complications
including: high blood pressure, high cholesterol and
triglyceride levels, etc..
Now that you know the root source of
Pre Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes for 80% of those with either condition,
what can you do about it?
Of course, finding an effective way to begin
eliminating visceral fat in your midsection is the answer.
As Dr. Oz mentioned, there are
several things you can do on your own to reduce or eliminate visceral
fat. Yet for most
people, burning fat and losing weight on their own - and keeping it
off (particularly visceral belly fat) - is
often easier said than done.

the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes
Association.
Hundreds of doctors and other medical and health care
professionals are now incorporating Bios Life Slim and Bios Life Slim G
into their practice because they have seen with their own eyes the
welcomed results Bios Life Slim has delivered for their patients,
for their colleagues' patients, and in many instances, for themselves.
Bios Life Slim™
has been proven in multiple clinical trials to specifically help Type 2 Diabetics and
Pre Diabetics in two very important ways. First, it begins to lower
your blood sugar and insulin levels quickly (an immediate benefit),
and...
Second, it helps your body restart its own natural fat burning
ability -
something your body is not doing right now if you're overweight.
Burning fat instead of storing too much of it (visceral fat,
in particular), is paramount to
maintaining healthy blood sugar and insulin levels
for the vast majority of Type 2 Diabetics and Pre Diabetics.
Bios Life
Slim™ includes a proprietary ingredient called Biosphere Fiber™ that
reduces and stabilizes blood glucose (sugar)
levels
in both Diabetics & Pre Diabetics through two mechanisms:
1.
First, it slows the absorption of glucose (sugar) in your
intestine, which helps moderate the amount of glucose released
into your blood stream, so your
blood sugar does not reach extreme levels - This prevents glucose
spikes and the subsequent insulin spikes.
This also relieves stress on the pancreas, and allows your
pancreas to produce the correct amount of insulin to facilitate
glucose absorption into your cells. The same amount of glucose
is eventually absorbed - it just takes more time to absorb it.
2.
Second, the Biosphere Fiber also changes the Glycemic index of
the food and liquids you consume. *The Glycemic index
ranks foods on how they affect your blood sugar levels, and measures
how much your blood sugar increases in the two or three hours after
eating.
Some foods cause a high level of
blood sugar, while others cause a low level of blood sugar. The
interaction of Bios Life Slim™ with the food reduces the
overall level of blood sugar, and spreads out glucose absorption
over a longer period of time.
The proprietary
Biosphere Fiber™ in Slim
moderates blood sugar both quickly and effectively.
With Bios Life Slim G - specifically formulated for Diabetics
and Pre Diabetics - many see their blood sugar
level begin to decrease the very first day they take Slim G.
When your blood sugar and Insulin levels
are stabilized, and your body begins to burn fat
naturally and consistently again - the way it was designed
to... Positive things happen to your health... More
importantly, they last.
Bios Life
Slim™ also includes a proprietary ingredient called Unicity7x™
that has been clinically proven to
reduce Leptin resistance.
Leptin resistance causes you to feel hungry all the time.
If you find it difficult to control your cravings, or you catch
yourself snacking a lot, you're more than likely
Leptin resistant.
Leptin is the signaling hormone in
your body between your fat cells and your brain. When working
properly, the brain stops craving food when it senses adequate
Leptin in the body.
As you might suspect,
most Type 2 Diabetics and Pre Diabetics
who are overweight, are also Leptin resistant.
Not surprisingly, it's become clear in recent years that excess body
fat, especially abdominal visceral fat, also disrupts the normal
balance and functioning of hormones like Leptin. (*See video on our
Bios Life Slim Benefits page with Obesity expert, Dr. David Edelson,
on the link between Leptin resistance and being overweight.)
*After
taking Bios Life
Slim™ for 7 days, your fat cells and brain begin
to communicate again.This reduces Leptin resistance;
reduces
your cravings and appetite; increases your energy level; and
aids in safe,
long-term fat loss.
As we mentioned earlier, Yvon's success with Bios Life Slim
wasn't an isolated case.
